How to get to The Writer's Sanctuary
B&B at 1103 Village Lane:
From Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs, turn up 12th Street whether you are coming
from the east or west. There is only way to turn on this street off of Lincoln (also known as Route 40).
Head
up hill, pass Colorado Mountain College (on the left) to the crest of the hill.
At the top, 12th Street turns
into Village Lane and Merritt will be on your right. Go one car length pass the intersection and turn into the first driveway
on your right, pass the house on your right and park directly in front of the garden wall to the left of the first garage
door. Come up to the front door and ring the bell.
